Call For Volunteers, CFP 2011

The 2011 "Computers, Freedom & Privacy" Conference at Georgetown University Law Center needs volunteers!

We'll give you free access to the conference if you:

  • Assist with setup and registration (June 13: 10am-5pm / June 14-16: 8am-3pm)
  • Provide logistical support for presentations (June 14-16: Noon-4pm), e.g. water for speakers, make sure AV systems are functioning, Internet access is operational, communicate problems to conference planners, or help direct attendees to workshops, tutorials, etc.
  • Assist with certain other sorts of specialized tasks (disability assistance, language translation, tech/privacy help desk, etc.).

Those who volunteer for 7 total hours will get free access to the entire conference.

If you can only volunteer for 3.5 hours you will get one additional day free access to the conference, in addition to the day you will volunteer for the conference.

If you want to volunteer, for more information email:

And come to the conference in any case! This is a hot time for privacy issues generally, and this is the place to get current on what's going on.
